Dr. Brown Wins Southface Argon Award

Date

Marilyn Brown received the prestigious Argon Award at Southface Institute's annual Visionary Celebration, joining the ranks of sustainability heroes, including the first recipient, Ray C. Anderson. She gave the featured talk on the progress and future of the sustainability movement. She also introduced four of her Georgia Tech School of Public Policy graduates and students (Suprita Chakravarthy, Grayson Eady, Ansel Ahabue, and Oliver Chapman) to the crowd of Georgia sustainability leaders. The 4 beluga whales in the background tank at the Georgia Aquarium were a wonderful distraction!
