MIT Talk: Mobilizing residential climate-smart technologies

At MIT's Applied Energy Conference, Marilyn Brown gave a keynote address co-authored with Snehal Kale (a Georgia Tech School of Public Policy PhD student). Our PPT is here – It generated lots of debate about policy designs (prompted by survey research and case studies of LA, Honolulu, and NYC). We also discussed the conundrum of sluggish adoption of heat pumps, rooftop solar, and electric vehicles in Georgia (documented by the Drawdown Georgia Solutions Tracker) where clean tech manufacturing is booming.
